App Installation

Install the "Pricing History" app on your development or test store.

Dashboard Overview: Once installed, you will be redirected to the main Dashboard. Here you can see an overview of your store's performance, including product counts and historical tracking metrics. Product Synchronization: The app will automatically sync your products upon installation. Navigate to the Products tab to view the list of tracked items.

Theme Extension Setup:

On the Dashboard, look for the Theme Extension Status banner. Click the Theme settings button, which will open your active theme in the Shopify Theme Editor. In the "App embeds" or "App blocks" section (usually within the Product Information section), look for the Pricing History block. Enable the block and click Save.

Storefront Verification:

Navigate to any product page on your storefront.

You should now see the Pricing History widget/chart displayed next to the product information. This widget showcases the historical trends and value evolution for that specific product.

History Logging:

To test the tracking functionality, try changing the value (price) of a product in your Shopify Admin. Return to the app and visit the History tab. You will see a new entry recording the historical change, date, and previous value.

Analytics: 

Review the chart on the main Dashboard to see the aggregated historical trends across your entire store.

Navigation: 

Explore the Settings page to customize the widget appearance and the Plans page to view available subscription options.
